DataBench project is reaching its end and with it, the results of the project are being refined in order to have a solid technical solution which will be the base for the exploitation and sustainability strategy foreseen by the project team.

One of the main outcomes of the project is the DataBench Toolbox, a one-stop-shop for different types of users to search, execute and deploy multiple technical benchmarks, which also provides relevant and useful information on the use of Big Data and Analytics technologies by industries. This approach has been essential to achieving one of the premises of the project which is to bridge the gap of the existing Benchmarking Community by measuring technology performance and usage against parameters of high business relevance.

The DataBench Toolbox will also host and make available other expected outcomes of the project such as the DataBench Framework and Handbook so the Big Data and Benchmarking Communities can use the results and leverage the knowledge and tools developed within the project.

A validation round of the Toolbox with different stakeholders such as projects under the PPP umbrella is expected for November, so we would like to extend an invitation to this community to get more projects interested in these topics to get on board to test the platform, UI, UX, user journey, among many other features.

• Our team will provide you with access credentials and other useful information on how to proceed with the validation
• Once DataBench team confirms you the date of access, go to (http://databench.ijs.si/), use the Toolbox and try its features for both business and technical profiles, and tell us what you think!
