The European Big Data Value Forum 2019 aims to continue the success of previous editions, where on average every year around 700 industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policymakers coming from 40 different countries attended the event.
The second edition of the BDV PPP event called the BDV PPP Summit will focus on Impact empowered by Data-driven Artificial Intelligence. It will be held on June 26-28 at the Latvian National Library, the prestigious and modern landmark of Riga, Latvia.

BPOD 2018 aims to bring researchers and practitioners together to better understand the problems of optimization and performance tuning in a big data environment, to propose new approaches to address such problems, and to develop related benchmarks, tools and best practices.

This conference that brings together major experts on software architecture research and practice. One of the workshops, which will count on participation of BDVA is of special interest to the DataBench project: "Workshop on Software Architecture Challenges in Big Data".
The workshop will identify areas and ways in which standards can help implement trustworthiness in AI systems through requirement frameworks, qualification criteria, benchmarks and baselines. The different parameters to make an AI system trustworthy will be defined and participants will set the base for a roadmap on standardization for AI.
The goal of DBTest 2018 is to bring researchers and practitioners from academia and industry together to discuss key problems and ideas related to testing database systems and applications.
The workshop on Performance Analysis of Big data Systems (PABS) is organised in conjunction with the 9th International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE 2018).
